We had the good fortune of connecting with Jorielle King and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jorielle, how does your business help the community?
As owner of Voices of Volume LLC, I plan to develop leaders who believe that all people who entrust us will reach their fullest potential with a life of purpose and abundance. Our mission is to provide coaching and coach training that breaks barriers and transforms lives through purposeful, passionate, and practical self-development. We concentrate on those who are ready to speak up, be bold, and change lives.

I want to help people change their life because that is simply my purpose. I am driven by passion, not greed or money. My experiences leading to my testimony continue to encourage transparency and help me to be relatable and understanding of all walks of life. Though I am not a counselor, I respect and encourage emotional wellbeing. I will cheer with you as you conquer fears and encourage you when life gets challenging. The methods and mindsets that I encourage others to walk in are thought-provoking and life changing. Voices of Volume LLC builds confident leaders and trailblazers who will continue growing in wisdom and knowledge that can be passed through generations to come and help others who want a new beginning to push into purpose.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The vision for Voices of Volume LLC is for people to embrace a life of purpose and abundance while I provide coaching that breaks barriers and transforms lives through purposeful, passionate, and practical self-development. While overcoming viewing myself as a reject, I realized that I had the opportunity to shift my focus from surviving life to creating a life worth living. I have a B.S. degree allowing me to service others, I post weekly wisdom-filled content on YouTube, I do live talks on Instagram to engage community, I have spearheaded a college-aged and young professionals ministry alongside my church, I have been a part of a mentorship program since 2010, and I attend prophetic training classes to heighten discernment when using my gifts. Although I am not yet a certified coach, I have helped many people to overcome personal hurdles through increasing self-awareness and challenging them to find solutions that empower them. This journey has not been easy, some days are more challenging than other but its always worth it.

I am most excited about working with clients, allowing myself to grow personally and professionally, and I look forward to continuing to break generational curses. I am overcoming challenges everyday through prayer and learning how to enjoy the journey of being a business owner. With my business approaching 1 year in a few months, the growth that has already been shown is humbling. I have learned that work-life balance is necessary for peace, that some people who started with you may not end with you in your journey, that others may not always understand your vision but that’s ok because it doesn’t belong to them, and that I am capable of doing what I’m called to do if I allow God to guide me and not man. I want the world to know that my brand is bigger than being a logo on apparel, a YouTube channel, or even direct deposits– it’s not a side hustle nor is it just a business, it’s a lifestyle.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Monday: Grab a whisky Coke slushie from Victory Sandwich Bar near Inman Park and Krog Street Market, then indulge in a delicious seafood dinner at Wild Crab in downtown Decatur

Tuesday: Enjoy $2 Tuesday with $2 tacos, $2 tequila shots, and $25 hookahs at Encore Hookah & Bar Bistro in Atlanta

Wednesday: Spend a few hours walking through the art galleries of High Museum of Art in Atlanta then enjoy lunch at RA sushi. Their salmon fried rice is the best and right within walking distance, dessert at Café Intermezzo

Thursday: Experience the beautiful views and artworks of the Eastside BeltLine while riding the motorized scooters and bikes that the city offers at a fee, and stop for Southern Food at Hop’s Kitchen in Ponce City Market

Friday: Starting at Truck and Tap bar, walk around this downtown Duluth area with our favorite drinks. There may be live music, and the scorpion shot at Nacho Daddy’s has a real scorpion inside of it

Saturday: Picnic at Piedmont Park, relaxing with mimosas, and hanging out in the sun

Sunday: Dudley’s Sports Bar and Grill in Stonecrest, Ga has been around for decades. It’s one of my favorite bars on the Eastside, with an old school meets new school vibe. They have the best lemon pepper wings, strong drinks, pool tables, live dj, and an outside patio with music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I could name so many people who have been impactful in my successes as an individual and in my business but unfortunately there’s just not enough time or space to name them all right now. First giving honor to God, I want to dedicate this shout out to my amazing support support system: Jamia K., Quymesha T., Shaneese L., D’wayanna G., and Jalen J.

These women have watched me, and my business grow from ground up. They have supported me through tears and joy, confusion and clarity, poorness and richness. They have donated, given time, shown up and been present, and encouraged my vision even when I couldn’t see clearly. These women are the epitome of what friendship is meant to be like. Not only is their love free-flowing but I too admire them because each of them are also successful business women–
Mia as a self-taught MUA and owner of ‘The Ultimate Slay by Jae’
Q as founder and owner of ‘Bath & Butter LLC’
Dee as a self-published author, founder and owner of ‘Your Perspective Writing LLC’
She She as a travel agent and creator of customized home-décor
Jayy as a full-time manager, creator of customized waist beads and owner of ‘The Bead Shop’

Ladies I appreciate your efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of me and others. May God continue to bless you with health and wealth.
