We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonte’ Koonce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jonte’, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
It’s just the passion. I can’t escape it even if I tried. Whether it’s filming, writing, making music, doing photography, the process from turning nothing into something magical is incredible to me. So to be able to do what you love as a career is always the goal and the dream for me and that’s why I’m pursuing a creative career.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I believe my visions is what sets me apart from others. I have so many ideas for my future projects that’s original but creative that I look forward for the world to see. I’m most proud of what I already accomplished and I’m excited about what’s next, whatever that may be. I have a long way to go even though it feels like I’ve came a long way and things just takes time. I can’t honestly say that I’m self taught because with the help of my peers, film school and YouTube University, I’ve learned a lot on the way and still learning. I want the world to know about me and my brand (LNT) is that the moment we hit the scene, the game is going to change for the better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I don’t know, I’m really a homebody lol. Tallahassee is a college town so there’s many places to go hang out at, drink, whatever, depending on the vibe you’re looking for.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and friends and my LNT crew. Without their support, I probably wouldn’t be as motivated to become what I want to be in life.
