Meet Johnson Ayuk | Fitness Trainer.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnson Ayuk and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Johnson, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Honestly, I was at a very dark place in my life when I really fell in love with fitness. with me being an athlete, you know I was already working out., but I didn’t know how to exercise properly and incorporate nutrition at the same time base on my goals. that made me want to be more knowledgeable about the business of it. so I had to hire a mentor to teach me more about the business side of fitness. without being said after learning every part of it, I wanted to contribute to my community since I like helping people achieve their fitness goals. that was one of the reasons that made me get into fitness. I decided to start my own business to provide myself with financial freedom and ownership. I believed I had gained enough knowledge and experience to help my people and myself.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What set me apart from others is that I go above and beyond for my clients or people in general. I always try to add value to people’s life. and I know most people don’t approach their business like that. to me my business is my life and I’m proud of that because without my clients I can not run my business. I got to where I’m at today business-wise by not only studying business owners I looked up to but just believing in myself and trusting my own process. I had already envisioned my business ideas so It was up to me how many of those ideas I wanted to come to life and once I realized that, my process became even easier and that’s what I would like the world to know as well. Anything you set your mind to, you can achieve.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live around downtown and there are a lot of activities to turn up to. first ill take them to the African – American museum and give them a tour of the city. i like eating at Dlena, capital grill, and some African cuisine like Swahili village and many others.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
first and foremost, I want to say a big shoutout to GOD for his grace. I want to say a big shoutout to duke Keller, he contributed a lot to my fitness journey, duke approached me and told me that I have a good physique and that I can become a pro bodybuilder. duke helped coach me throughout my first and second bodybuilding competitions. he work on all my diets and training programs. he believe in me and we became the best in the city. and my boy BIG L. was the first person that made me start working out in a big gym, he will always tell me what to do from time to time.
