We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaymie and Jeff Solomon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaymie and Jeff, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Customer Service is the key to our success. We aim to be over the top with our communication all through out the process. When you go above and beyond your customers feel it.
What should our readers know about your business?
Card My Yard exists to serve our communities with joy and partner with local organizations to help them celebrate. As the Premier Yard Greeting company we strive to grow and expand while serving the needs of our customers.
It’s our mission to spread happiness throughout our local community. We are grateful to our customers for including Card My Yard Marietta in their celebrations.
We believe our custom made signs are unique because no signs are the same. All orders are customized for the customer. Our customer service is what sets us apart. We believe in going the extra mile to make our customers happy and coming back again. Both of us have been fortunate to grow up with entrepreneur parents. This certainly helped us as we built our business. The biggest challenge we have had to overcome is the massive growth through the pandemic. Ensuring that you have the right amount of inventory to match the demand from your customers. We just have learned to analyze sales during certain times of the year when demand is higher and lower to ensure we have what we need to supply our customers.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta has so much to offer. I would take them one day to Ponce City Market to have some fun on the rooftop and then eat afterwards. Then perhaps a concert over at City Winery. On another day I would head into Virginia Highlands to walk around and shop. Definitely brunch at Murphy’s. Followed up with an IMAX show at the Fernbank. Another day I would go to the Battery and eat at Superica and get Jeni’s ice cream. Then of course take in a Braves Game. Another fun activity there is Punch Bowl Social for games and drinks. On another day I would take them into Vinings to shop and then eat at Muss and Turner. Not to mention a stop at the aquarium one day and the coke museum. If I have sports fans then the College Hall of Fame.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to recognize our parents for showing us what it takes to be successful entrepreneurs.
