We had the good fortune of connecting with Jared Saavedra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jared, how do you think about risk?
You must take calculated risks. No one does anything great by taking the safe route.

When we open a business, we all risk. We risk financially, but we also risk losing our more precious commodity, our time, into something that is unknown.

Risk, however, is a necessity in the formula of success. I’ve risked a lot of money, but if I didn’t have skin in the game, it may not have turned out like this.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The reason I feel stand out from most is due to my “range.” I’m a person who is interested in many things. I am a performance coach, business owner, real estate investor and athlete agent.

It sounds like a lot, but at the end of the day, they all tie into my purpose of providing opportunities for others. I’m very self aware of my purpose and skill sets so I do my best to leverage my strengths of being curious and having a white belt mentality.

I got to where I am today simply by surrounding myself and learning from people of different industries and connecting the dots. I believe a big reason why I’ve had a little success in my career is that I value relationships with people. I try my best to be consistent in my message and in my communication.

I’ve learned that the soft skills are actually the big skills. Communication, listening and having integrity goes much further than anything you can learn in a book. I’ve overcome challenges and growing pains of being a business owner and I would not take any of it back.

I want the world to know that my personal brand screams support and protection. I’m just a guy from Albuquerque, New Mexico and want to make my folks proud. That’s all.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I’m married now, so it might look a little different ha.

If my best friend came to Atlanta, there’s a few things that we must do. We must go to the aquarium, Olympic park and check out a Hawks, ATL United or Falcons game.

We would go eat at Fat Matt’s, Fox Bros, Nina and Rafi’s and hit up some of the best roof top sports in the ATL for drinks, or Michelob Ultra for me. .

I love to work out, so the places I’d take him are The Rack Performance, PT Cross Training and American Top Team Atlanta for some jiu jitsu or martial arts training.

I’m not into the club scene here, but there are some awesome brunch spots and wineries in North Georgia that are perfect for a Sunday flow.

He wouldn’t get to leave the ATL without checking out my church, Victory ATL. He may see Montell Jordan leading worship. It is always poppin’!Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
No matter where life takes me, I will always shout out the support of my family. My wife, my parents and brother have supported me since day one. I am a product of love, positive affirmation and support.
