We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamaul Peacock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamaul, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m originally from Miami, FL but, I grew up in South GA. The name of the town is Dublin, GA. There wasn’t much to the town so we had to create fun and exciting things to do on our own. My older brother lived in Virginia at the time so when I’d visit I’d see how much fun he was having lol I believe that opened my eyes to want more and to want to accomplish more. I really looked up to him and still do in a sense. I began to tap into my creative mind at an early age and knew I wanted more than the small town could offer. Now, I live a great life, have a very successful business and working in a career I absolutely love.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
During the pandemic, my mother was hit pretty hard when she was diagnosed with COVID19. In dealing with the healthcare system, insurance companies, care facilities, etc. i learned the ins and outs of life and health insurance and the importance of having more than enough coverage. From that experience, I decided to get my Life, Accident, and Health insurance license. I wanted to be educated enough to educate those in my position. I wanted to be able to help families before they were put in the position I was.

I also sell health and wellness products through Total Life Changes. Having multiple streams of income has always been important for me. You never know what turn your life will take.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Atlanta is home for me. I love little Mom and Pop shops and eateries. Midtown is always a nice area to venture into. I also love to shop so I’d go to the home decor stores and shop for household items. One of my favorite restaurants is C&S Seafood and Oyster bar. They have two locations but by far, my favorite is the one near Cumberland mall. The Battery Near Cumberland is amazing as well. There’s a nice cigar bar there, BURN, that’s a nice place.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My amazing husband has been a major factor in my success. He’s supporting, loving, and cheers me on every step of the way. Also, Growing up I had a very strong support system. My mom was a very hard worker and she definitely instilled in us the same work ethic. My brother and sister, who are older than I am, have always been there to support me in everything I do. My dad is like my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. For me, family has been everything. They work my nerves but, they’re family and I love them.
