We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaeson Frederique and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaeson, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My initial thought process behind starting my own business started with wanting to help other unrecognized/underrated athletes get the attention and media recognition they deserve so they could get offers and continue chasing after their sports dreams as well as help improve athletes’ confidence by seeing their highlights.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is my work ethic, love for what I do, creative mind and my open mindfulness.

I am most proud of myself for being able to maintain and grow my business while being a college student and I am extremely excited about releasing a lot of new projects I have been working on.

Honestly, I feel as though I still have a long road to go in my professional career but I am loving the process of becoming better and better every single day. Trusting that God has a plan for me like He says He does and wanting to be a better videographer and photographer than the day before, every single day has helped me grow enormously just over the past 3-4 years.

The journey definitely hasn’t been easy and has made me adjust my lifestyle from a young age. I pray a lot and my parents are always pushing me and supporting me when I need it.

A few big lessons I have learned along the way are:
That you can learn from anyone
To not get too low on the lows or too high on the highs. Stay steady, focused, and humble.

It isn’t too much I want the world to know about me or my story, but I do want the world to know that anything they put their minds to, they are capable of and that they can do anything through Christ who strengthens them.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spot in the city to go after a long week and relax and eat is the local metro diner.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God My mom & dad
My family
My high school basketball coaches and team (Eastside High School in Covington, GA/Coach Randolph, Coach Garrison, Coach Daniel, Coach McKeller, and Coach Morrison)
My friends who let me practice on them and always supported me
My friend Romeo (@publicgoat Instagram) was like a mentor to me when I first started
My friend Elijah (@shotby.elijah Instagram) also helped me a lot with my photography skills
