We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacob Sayer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacob, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success has been consistency. Not everyday is super great and sunshine but you have to work and push everyday which we do. As a small, service based business, we have to be consistent in what we do in order to compete and impact the community.
What should our readers know about your business?
NinetyPlus Training is a player development company that focuses on private and small group soccer training. Coach Nate and I began working together in March off 2021 after both of us spending years as private trainers for players.
Starting your own business is never easy and we began when the COVID-19 pandemic was still strong which was a challenge in itself. We overcame challenges by adapting and being consistent for our players. Once again, consistency is the biggest thing when running a business as you are going to go through highs and lows.
The world should know that NinetyPlus Training values our players and the relationships we build first and foremost. We work with players at all levels and understand that the impact we have goes beyond the field. We help players build their confidence and work ethic which they then take into all aspects of life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in the metro Atlanta area so I would take them to multiple nice bar/restaurants and just have good meals and good drinks. Look to maybe do a hike somewhere close as well. Also would have them join me in the gym as that a must for me.
Some restaurants to check out are Barcelona Wine Bar, Rumi’s Kitchen, the Orient, and there are others. To be honest, I do not really get out much so just would stick to my routine and add a few things to do here and there.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my parents. They sacrificed a lot to allow me to pursue my dreams of playing college and semi-professional soccer. Playing the game at the high level has provided me opportunity to become a trainer and help the next generation pursue and achieve their dreams.
