We had the good fortune of connecting with Jackie STAMPS and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jackie, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Pastor, Evangelist, First Lady, Author, Entrepreneur, Gospel Recording Artist, Mother and many other things. What sets me apart from others, is my passion to lift others spirit when they are low. I am so excited about this next season of my life! God is doing so many great things in my life and I am so grateful. I had to work very hard to get where I am this far. No, It was not easy, but so worth it. It was nobody but God that brought me through, with fasting, praying with my husband and kids. The bible tells us, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 The things I have learned, is by way of Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not to our own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct our paths. I wrote my first book, Sandpapered, Written and Recorded to CD’s, Have several ministries given by God. I want you to stay the course! Don’t you give up. Your business or ministries will help someone.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friends to the Peerless. The food is good. Would watch movies and shop. Then relax! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In my journey, there have been many people that have played a major part in my becoming. My husband, Pastor Scottie Stamps has play a huge role and pushing me spiritually in everything. My children Kadedra Stamps, Brittney Leonard, and son Jarod Davis have made sure everything has been where and what it was suppose to be. I release a Book entitled, Sandpapered in 2019, that help release a lot of things that help me bound! My mother, Deborah Gilliam has truly help kelp me focus. My father has been there to instill a great work structure.
