We had the good fortune of connecting with Jabarri Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jabarri, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want my legacy to leave an imprint on the world through music and visual arts. I want people to remember me as the singer/songwriter/engineer that created a unique ecosystem for creatives such as artists, songwriters, singers, rappers, and etc. An ecosystem that creates high quality art and brings the listeners and viewers in a world they never have been before. Where quality is more valued than quantity. I want people to remember as being the one that helped a lot of artists and creatives to enhance their sound and art to the next level

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is the way how I approach my music. I feel that all songs should have a feeling and a place that you sit your listener or viewer in so they can feel the melody , lyrics , production and mix all in one. Im proud about how I’ve met so many amazing creatives and that I’m apart of a unit called “The Shift” We shift the mind, feel, and hearts of the viewers and listeners by releasing amazing records and visual arts. It definitely wasn’t easy but with hardwork and being held accountable everything works in ways I can’t even describe. Its a good feeling. The lessons that I learned and go by is loyalty over anything else. Find you a group of creatives that you can really call a team. Everybody has to have a role and be held accountable. With that being said you still have to have a good time creating and be there for one another. The Shift is a family. As long as everyone is eating and getting paid it will help the ecosystem of us creating and progressing. I would like for the world to take 1 min and just listen to the songs that I’m engineering and creating. Take sometime and hear me out. I promise you will enjoy what you hear from myself. Through my music, the world will be able to learn more about me and enjoy the journey through the projects, songs and visuals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In my city it’s a couple places I would take someone that’s not from here. The new Valdosta High School would be that place. To see all the football and sports trophies of Titletown. Next would be Valdosta State University. The campus is different and has a lot that has to offer there. To eat I would take them to a black own food spot called Island Wings 2. This place is owned by my aunt and has food ranging form lemon pepper wings to a chicken philly, to curry goat or even oxtails.Wild Adventures would be another great spot to be at. Its has roller coasters and other thrilling rides. Also has a number of different species of animals in their zoo. The last spot would be my home studio it would be where we mostly would be to create timeless music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have multiple people that deserve their flowers from me. First off I have to recognize AaronMac, A super producer and once my roommate in my first college at the Art of Institute. He helped me enhance my sound as an artist and produced a lot of incredible records for me. I also have to shoutout Firas Quick, Audio Engineer. He is one of my good friends and he engineered a couple of records for me and has engineered big records with huge artists like Chris Brown and the list goes on. He introduced me to an Engineering Book and every since then my mixes and engineering has been out of this world. Its other individuals such as my 7402 family , The Shift and Media Arts Geniuse family that deserve the spot light also. Kym, Summerof96, & YourWorldMyLens for helping me with my visual content. The list can go on and also I just want to shoutout everyone that have supported , shared , liked , and comment on my records! I love getting feedback from my fans and people that just love the movement that I’m leading! Last but not least I would like to thank God for blessing me to be a pillar in so many lives! Its an amazing feeling!
