We had the good fortune of connecting with Isaiah Crawford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Isaiah, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
I feel like being a father is my greatest accomplishment, I feel like the most important thing I done is putting my child first and being active in his life. with my son my main focus is how is he doing not just from a monetery aspect but from a mental, emotional, & physical aspect, my philosophy is anybody can buy things but making sure they are good in all areas is the most important thing. Although I do not live with my son, I never want to to feel like Daddy is not here whenever i need him, because it does not matter where I am at or what i am doing I am never too busy for my son. I also do not make any significant life decisions with out thinking about how it will affect him he comes first plain and simple.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Currently I am a Transportation Area Manager with Amazon logistics, I have been here for just over 2 years now, I came in as a college hire and I have learned so much in a short time. I have been blessed to have a great team, counterparts and Managers that really want to see you grow and accomplish whatever goal you have for yourself. The road that led me to where i am wasn’t easy of course there were challenges and i overcame them by learning from mistakes I made. I feel that the best teacher in life is your own experiences.

My long term career plans is to become a Meteorologist, I am currently in a meteorology program and I am slated to graduate by December 2028, It has been something I always wanted to do and I finally decided to take the risk and apply to the program. I truly feel that God has a plan for everybody with certain paths and everything I have went through is because this is the path I am supposed to take, it gets hard sometimes but that’s how you know you are on the right path.

I want the world to know that it is okay to fail at things, failure is the best lesson in life as long as you pick yourself back up and try again, I am proof of that I do not have everything figured out in life but that’s okay because one day I will.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people that I am thankful for outside my family,

I feel like my Friends that turned into my brothers : Malachi Culbreth of Chi Cuts, Churchill Ezeokonkwo of Southside Shutters, and Michael Gray, we all want to see each other succeed there has never been animosity between us these are generally great fellas & I am truly appreciative of them. AR21 we need locked in since we met and we locked in for life, Also I cannot leave out some of the most genuine individuals i met in college Marquis Barry, Nika & Desmond McClain they helped look out for me ever since we first met back in 2021.

I love all y’all forever and after
