We had the good fortune of connecting with India Mosley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi India, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
It’s a feeling that you just get in your heart when you’re torn between giving up or continuing on. My mindset is that no matter how much you fail, the day you decide to give up could’ve been the day you had your big break. Even when your heart tells you to give up, it’s never really actually giving up its just you turning your energy to a new calling and your current one has just ran its course in your life. I vowed to never give up on me which means never giving up on anything I’ve ever created as well.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets my business Ricche Beauty apart from other brands is that , it’ll always remain affordable. I’ve noticed in the beauty industry, many people launch and the prices are insane, which is to be expected with inflation and everything going on around us in society today but I’ve created my brand to look “high end” but for less of a cost. You’re getting quality products for half the cost of more expensive brands, and that I am extremely proud of.

I got to where I am today with faith and perseverance. It was not quite the walk in the park but I overcame any challenge that was thrown my way by simply believing in myself. I set a goal and until I reached it I had tunnel vision, outside factors didn’t matter, I was on a mission.

Along the way I’ve learned that it’s 100% ok to experience trial and error, but you cannot give up no matter the circumstances. As a business owner, you’re going to come across problems and when one way to solve it doesn’t seem to be working, go back to the drawing board and source new ways to solve the issue.

My story is that I was a driven individual that had a dream that I turned into reality. I acted on this big dream I had by saving, putting in hard work, losing sleep, having extremely strong principles, and being open to gambling with taking losses. Ricche Beauty is a brand I created to make everyone feel beautiful, wanted and accepted for less.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A week long trip of showing my best friend the best time ever would look like:

Sunday: Brunch at “Love On The Blu” and A Mini Night Cruise With Dinner at Navy Pier.

Monday: Lunch and Puttshack and Dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Tuesday: Spa Day and Mimosas and Dinner at Capital Grille.
Wednesday: Escape Room and a chill outing at Bar Louie.
Thursday: Mini golfing at Top Golf and Dinner at Private.
Friday: Brunch at Wildberry Cafe, Two Dots and a Dash for late night clubbing, drinks and small meal.
Saturday: Night on the town, downtown Chicago.

These are all fun and exciting places that I’ve been to and I would love for a best friend of mine to visit if they were in town for the week.
