We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Aryee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was believing myself to not go back to work in the corporate world and be able to become an entrepreneur full time. It was scary at first, but I pushed that aside and worked hard on being a entrepreneur.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Recently I opened a design agency that specializing in Graphic design & Media Production! I’ve found office space so I can expand in Lawrenceville, GA. I plan by the end of this year have workshops and teach people who are interested in my industry.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My Favorite Spots in the city is Ponce City market! I can literally spend the whole day there, especially in the summer time. They have a food court with an abundance of different foods and shops. Ponce city is right by the beltline where you can skate or ride your bike on the beltline trail.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my peer and friend Candace Orange. I rely on her heavily as she is in the same field as me and motivates me everyday to not give up. Finding someone in our industry that likes to network and connect is hard. Everyone stay to their selfs or don’t want to talk unless you pay them. I am thankful to have her in my life and through my entrepreneur journey!
