Hi Gamma Lambda Epsilon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Gamma Lambda Epsilon: Rooted in Sisterhood, Grounded in Love

The creation of Gamma Lambda Epsilon was born from a deeply held belief in the power of genuine sisterhood and unwavering support among women. Founders Nina Hebert, Tiffany Rachells, and Shirelle Davis sought to build an organization that would foster lifelong connections, ensuring that every woman who joined felt truly seen, heard, and valued.

Initially, Nina and Tiffany explored another organization whose mission and values seemed to align with their vision. However, they soon realized that the promises made did not translate into the experience they had hoped for. Instead of settling for something that did not reflect their aspirations, they embraced a fundamental truth: when you cannot find what you are looking for, you must create it.

With that conviction, Gamma Lambda Epsilon was founded to be a space where women could uplift one another, build meaningful bonds, and share a sense of belonging that transcends mere membership. Grounded in love and united in purpose, the organization stands as a testament to the strength of women who dare to cultivate the community they deserve.

Gamma Lambda Epsilon Sorority, Inc. was founded on the belief that sisterhood should be a genuine, uplifting, and transformative experience. Our focus is on creating a space where women feel supported, heard, and valued. We understand that every individual seeks a community that aligns with their personal values, and for those who resonate with what we offer, we are proud to provide that home.

The journey to where we are today has been one of determination and resilience. When we set out to establish Gamma Lambda Epsilon, we knew we were creating something meaningful, but that didn’t mean the path was easy. We encountered obstacles, moments of doubt, and the challenge of building a brand from the ground up. However, we persevered, leaning on our belief that when you cannot find the space you need, you must create it. With every hurdle, we learned invaluable lessons—how to lead with integrity, how to cultivate unity, and how to adapt while staying true to our mission.

What we are most proud of is the impact we have had on our members. Seeing them thrive in a sisterhood where they feel understood, supported, and inspired confirms that Gamma Lambda Epsilon is more than an organization—it is a movement. Our members continue to push boundaries, embrace leadership, and uplift one another in ways that reaffirm our vision.

Atlanta is the perfect mix of history, culture, great food, and vibrant nightlife. Start with a classic Southern breakfast before exploring landmarks like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Enjoy shopping and dining at Ponce City Market, stroll the BeltLine, and take in the beauty of Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. For entertainment, catch a Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, enjoy rooftop cocktails at SkyLounge, or unwind with live jazz at Marquette Restaurant & Lounge. Whether indulging in barbecue at Fox Bros. or taking in city views at The Sun Dial, Atlanta promises an unforgettable experience.

First and foremost, we dedicate our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible members—they are the confirmation that we made the right decision. Seeing them thrive within this sisterhood reaffirms that the space we created was truly needed. Their commitment, passion, and unity continue to inspire and strengthen the foundation we built.

We also want to give special recognition to our husbands, who stood by us from the very beginning. They were the first to encourage us to take this leap, recognizing the challenges we faced and believing wholeheartedly in our ability to create something meaningful. Their unwavering support reminded us that sometimes the greatest dreams come to life when backed by those who genuinely believe in you.

To every individual who has contributed to our journey, directly or indirectly, we extend our deepest gratitude. Gamma Lambda Epsilon exists because of the collective spirit of empowerment, love, and sisterhood—and for that, we are forever grateful.
