We had the good fortune of connecting with FNDT Trap and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi FNDT, how do you think about risk?
Taking risk was cricket to me becoming who I am with my career. I’ve risked quiting my jobs and sacrificing my time away from my kids. Without me taken the risk I have taken I wouldn’t be successful today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What makes me stand out from every upcoming artist in the game is my will to be successful. I don’t wait on handouts nor am I waiting for a label to sign me. I live by Yo Gotti number 1 rule of the music game. “It’s just like hustling in the streets” you not going to wait on nobody to tell you to re up in the streets so why wait for a label to help you when you can discipline yourself and do it yourself. I feel I am a perfect example of what the music industry is lacking now. Alot of artist come in the game assuming you have to sign to a major label to be successful. If you handle your business ypu still can be successful. Yes the road to success may take a lil longer, but it’s worth it in the end. Without the help of a major I’m starting to book outside my city in other close cities and also other surrounding states. I’m independent so all money I make stays with the Faith N Da Trap label. Which is my label. I have 4 kids 3 boys and 1 girl and I sacrifice alot of time away from them doing what I do. My kids are getting older and starting to understand. They love they’re dad’s music. I started out as a strip club dj helping local artist. Alot of artist I worked with got the local fame and lost site of the overall objective. After attempting to help 5 or 6 artist I finally told myself I’m going to rap and show these guys what I was trying to help them with.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Whenever I have friends or family come to town I take them to the clubs I have hosted or dj at. Usually it’s the strip club Flame in Columbus GA. After that we may take the hour and 30 min ride to Atlanta, GA and book us a room at The Hyatt Regency Downtown Atlanta. After checking in we hit the nightlife going to numerous spots like Pinups, Diamond, Blue Flame, etc etc. We may finish our night at Metro Diner Downtown getting the Chicken and Waffles.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am with out the support of my city Columbus, GA, a supporting cast of family, and friends. I will be signing to Anuvis Management in August. So I’m also looking to grow even more with they’re partnership and support.
