We had the good fortune of connecting with Eulie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eulie, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I’ve been doing photo and video work for over seven years, and recently, I became a parent. Work-life balance has become extremely important to me. I’ve learned that the work will always be there, so stressing over deadlines is a lose-lose situation. My child will always come first, so I make sure to set boundaries with clients and designate times where I can give my full attention to my daughter. This approach helps me stay focused and ensures that I’m present in both my work and personal life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey into photography and video production has a special significance to me. Shortly after my father passed away, I found an old polaroid camera in a case with a receipt for film dated the day I was born. I had always been into photography, but that moment really pushed me to take the leap and pursue it more seriously.

A big part of my growth as a photographer came from the inspiration and support of my good friend Will Ingram. He was a huge influence as I honed my craft. A few years later, I moved to Las Vegas with my friend Nathan Van Tuyl, and that’s where I dove into video production, learning everything I could. In Vegas, I also met Jalen Terry, who was another major inspiration as I stepped into the world of videography.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to shoot photos and videos with artists like Dame Dash, Waka Flocka, T.I., and Tech N9NE, among others. These experiences have been huge motivators for me to keep pushing forward. What sets me apart is my commitment to capturing moments that tell a true, authentic story, and I’m proud of the trust my clients place in me to bring their visions to life.

It wasn’t an easy road—there were plenty of challenges, from building a client base to balancing creativity with the demands of running a business. But I’ve learned so much along the way, including the importance of persistence, adaptability, and staying true to my creative voice. Now, with a family to consider, I’m even more intentional about my work, ensuring it aligns with both my personal and professional values.

My goal is to create work that’s not just visually striking, but also meaningful and resonant. I want to connect with people through my art and help them tell their stories in a way that feels true to them.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ve got to give a big shoutout to my partner. They’ve always been there for me, helping me juggle the ups and downs of balancing work and family life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support.

I would like to express my gratitude to the creative community that I am fortunate to be a part of, including Nathan Van Tuyl, Will Ingram, Aj Hudson, Tyler Flores, Jalen Terry, and many others who have generously shared their wisdom and inspiration with me. Their guidance has truly been transformative for me. Additionally, I want to extend a huge thank you to my clients. Their trust in my work and the stories they have allowed me to tell have motivated me to continue growing and improving in my craft.
