Meet Estelle Harford | Movement Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Estelle Harford and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Estelle, what do you attribute your success to?
I absolutely love what I do, and am extremely passionate about my work and helping others. It is my goal to have my clients live pain free, active lives and it’s so rewarding to be a part of that. I truly treat each person as the individual they are and customize every single session based upon the person in front of me. I genuinely care about their success and learned during this pandemic that I’m the best version of myself when I am able to help others. I am always learning and evolving and I think that is evident with those I work with.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was always a creative and I see Stellar Strength and Wellness ultimately as a creative, wellness business. I am always adapting and problem solving to help others. However, instead of using a canvas to create, now I work with people to help them. Through my work I help ease pain, increase flexibility, increase range of motion, eliminate myofascial restrictions and solve muscular compensations. It took many many years to get where I am . It was not by any means easy. I was often alone in my journey. I was still always confident I was on the correct path to help others. I’ve learned to always learn. I’ve also learned that every one that is an expert in something work up one day knowing nothing about what they now know. So that always helped me stay focused and on the right path.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I’m pretty outdoorsy so I’d probably take them to the Mountains and go hiking or kayaking. North Georgia has a lot to offer and we spend as much time there as possible. There’s always more to explore. I think Atlanta has some amazing restaurants and beautiful outdoor spaces. I live on the Chattahoochee River so it’s nice to just go hang out there and listen to the water or paddle board.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have worked with many inspiring people throughout the years and it’s not fair to really list one. It’s all been a journey and I’ve put together many years of learning and experience to create Stellar Strength and Wellness. I get great inspiration from many colleagues I’ve met over the years at certifications, school, trainings and seminars. I also am always learning from my clients. I think it’s always important to always be learning. I suppose the absolute greatest shoutout I can possibly give is to my Mom and Dad. Without learning from them that anything is possible and to be confident even if you’re on a different path. It is important to remain true to yourself. I don’t think I’d be an entrepreneur and have such a creative and unique career if it wasn’t for their encouragement at a young age.
