We had the good fortune of connecting with Eric Scott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eric, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve been attached to the music business for quite some time, having grown up touring with a recording artist and learning from him and his team taught me a lot about how to navigate through this business for myself. I still have a lot to learn but I’ve made a bit of progress and I want to see how far I can take it.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I manage and work with a couple of artists one of them being Davante Liv3. Liv3 and I have worked together for quite some time now and we’ve grown together. We took some time off but we’re back at it and ready to show everybody what we got going on. I’ve been working on getting back into production as well. I work with a gang of talented producers that I’m a&r’ing for and trying to help create the best music they can.
I also work for Mercedes-Benz if you’re ever in the market for a Benz come see me I can definitely help with any car needs.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well first off I’d have to take them to East Atlanta Thai. I don’t know if y’all have ever had them fried shrimp spring rolls but they crazy good! My wife and I frequent there often. Its a bunch of different spots for real but I’d definitely have to take my guest to Ruth Chris. I don’t need to say much to describe that, Ruth Chris is Ruth Chris lol. I been hitting Blu Cantina a lot too whenever I want hookah so that would be another spot lol.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Big shout of to Multi Alumni LLC for teaching me the game and showing me there was more out there for me beyond Meridian, MS.
