We had the good fortune of connecting with Emerald Able and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emerald, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success the last 9 months of launching my business has truly been trusting God and trusting the entire process. It hasn’t been an easy journey running a business, and being a full time mom but I’m surrounded around an amazing village that has truly helped me overcome so much within this little time of opening my business. I always believe my hard working go getter spirt has led me to my success over the years in whatever I do, I truly don’t let up in anything I do especially when it comes to my business, I want to produce the best results for my clients and my business. My brand is succeeding now because I pride myself on consistency, confidence, and evolving my work each event. The goal is to go up from from and get accomplishing my goals of being a world renowned wedding and event planner+ designer.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is a full on jack of all trades, we provided planning & full decor as well as rentals for your event. We pride ourselves in being a one stop shop company you’re able to get everything from us from (custom cups, napkins, florals, party rentals) Our business is very hands on all of our clients become family to us through this process we make sure we make our clients feel comfortable and let them know they can trust us fully to make there special day amazing whether it’s a wedding, baby shower, graduation party or corporate event) I got here today by staying focused on my goals and making sure I’m attentive to all details so I’m able to provide a seamless stress free experience and say for all my clients. I have learned it’s okay to ask questions I have begun to reach out to a lot of vendors and other planners asking general questions and they have been so helpful always giving me the best advice and tips. S/o to them they are the best.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d first go get our nails down (pedicure and manicure) I give myself a self care day a couple of times a month for all my hard work and the nail shop is always the first stop, then we’d go grab breakfast at first watch my favorite breakfast spot in Atlanta, then we’d go do a fun activity in the city at Top Golf it’s my go to spot to take friends and family when visiting me. We will then go get dressed do our makeup takes some photos and go to a nice dinner at little alley steak (i love this place because they have the best rockerfella oysters) then we’d watch a movie on Netflix to end the night I love binge watching shows on Netflix

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this to my husband, my son, and my family who’s supported me on this new venture ever since I expressed my interest in starting my own company. They have helped me set up events, prepare for events, brain stormed ideas with me for hours and hours, and even have referred me to so many clients. Without my family I wouldn’t be this far into my business or succeeding like I have. So I personally thank my family a million times for the encouragement they give me even when I’m feeling defeated and the love they continually show me.
