We had the good fortune of connecting with Eli Joseph and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eli, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is my abundance mindset. I have this notion that I have an abundance of opportunities to be successful every single time I wake up in the morning. As long as I am able to wake up in the morning, I have an infinite amount of opportunities to be better than who I was in the previous day.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m most proud of my career independence; being able to work in a variety of sectors. The vision behind my career was to diversify my skills and get involved in multiple industry sectors (finance, education, and health care). I was just 21 years old when he graduated with his Master’s in Business Administration. His career began in Wall Street as an analyst at a bank that specialized in home lending. In less than a year, I left Wall Street to pursue my doctorate degree in Business Administration. My career as a college professor started in 2017 when he became a faculty member at Queens College. Subsequently, he took advantage of this opportunity to serve as an associate faculty member at Columbia University prior to receiving his doctorate degree. In addition to teaching, I became a member of TED and the Recording Academy. I am also a partner and medical examiner at Quest Diagnostics and Clinical Reference Laboratory Inc, where I provide paramedical services to Fortune 500 Insurance companies.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Assuming we move past the COVID-19 global pandemic and everything gets back to normal for one night: I would take my friends out to an indoor recreational center where we could play paintball, black ops, and/or zombie laser tag. We would then get some tickets to check out an NBA basketball game hosted by the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. After the game, we go to the Twist Seafood Restaurant and Bar to try out some of the best Cajun seafood places in New York City.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to the women who have helped me amplify my voice through media! Nearly all of my published featured articles were written by women who have invested a lot of their time and efforts to help promote my brand and acknowledgements. I would not be where I am today without the help of the editors and reporters that have publicly supported my goals.
