We had the good fortune of connecting with El Tayepac and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi El, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always had a fascination with how words are constructed. As well as the feeling of tones as they register in my mind. I instinctively understood at an early age how present and impactful music is/can be. Just wanted to do some teaching of my own.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When it comes to recording music for me these days I base it solely off of energy, vibes & previous conversations. I think that and the fact that I no longer write & haven’t been for a while leaves it all hanging in the balance of Greatness. I’m just ready to see how my words can effect groups of people. It hasn’t been a easy process musically but I’m the blame for that. You have to just know & accept. The world should familiarize themselves with UNDRRTD some hardworking Artists coming out of Augusta.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I can’t lie my life hasn’t dealt with much planning on my end so I wouldn’t know where to start. I’d more than likely link with my folks and let one of the people in the land dictate.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I can’t lie first & foremost shoutout to my undying support system. The ones here today & no longer physically present. All of this success wouldn’t be without y’all! Thank You All
