We had the good fortune of connecting with Ecdubble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ecdubble, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Honestly I didnt really choose it as much as it chose me. From young as I can remember I’ve been in love with music. My first love no doubt. I also had a grand mother Nana Dia RIP who ran a “shot house” in Alabama. When we were younger than 10 she would wait until the place was packed and then tell everyone her grandsons can sing. We knew it was coming. We looked forward to it. So down below in the basement with shag carpet and mirrors lining every wall. A skull hanging from the ceiling over the bar where a blue light illuminates over crates of cassettes and stacks of vinyl records. Yeah this is where my brothers my cousin and I practiced our rhymes and routine. Normally this is where my Gma would entertain patrons but since we visit in the summertime she’s doing her outside thing. Some of the best memories of my life. Definitely when the creative and artistic seeds were planted.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a record label owner, musician, writer, performer, influencer and now more than anything a content creator. Although I was raised deep in the south between Atlanta GA. and Alabama my perspective comes from years of making a living in the trendiest places in the US during their busiest times of year My latest passion is short form video I recently created and launched a new Instagram Reels series entitled “What We Must Discuss” After just over a month, the video series has racked up nearly 200k views 20k likes and 2k comments In my own unique way and style I create pieces art for Instagram. Collages of content. Video audio and written word From movies we all love to trending sounds on social media It all helps to create the experience In depth captions can take the reader down a rabbit hole of emotions The video and audio are just the hook The real conversation is being had in the caption and comments Hearing people in the comment section express how the content is helping them keeps me inspired to write 3 and 4 paragraphs per episode Diving deep into the marriage of visual and sound the user just consumed My new short video series “What We Must Discuss” is a creative, entertaining, motivating, game giving platform. Not only will you laugh dance and cry. It provokes thought and inspires positive change. Great content with an edge.

My single Falling Starz was released June 17th
