We had the good fortune of connecting with Drew Nicole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Drew, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
Bet on myself and choose entrepreneurship. This has been a tough journey, but one that has been so gratifying. To help my clients transform through my gifting, is an honor that I do not take for granted. I get to wake up daily and make an impact through style. My most difficult decision has been one of my biggest blessings.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is through the authenticity of my clients and this is what sets me apart from others. Watching the confidence within my clients increase and their transformation take place overtime due to our collaboration together, it really makes my heart full. I have been in fashion and merchandising for nearly 20 years, and the journey was not easy. Overcoming challenges were as simple as making a choice for me. Being that quitting has never been the option, the only choice has been to find a solution or resolve in whatever has been presented before me.

My brand’s core values is authenticity and transformation. It is my goal to transform the wardrobe of my clients through their authenticity. My process is from a holistic approach. Styling them from all areas of their lives and teaching the importance of dressing for their body type is also apart of my process. The goal is for clients to graduate, be able to dress and shop for themselves with what they have gained collaborating with me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Hmmm this is a tough one, because I am SUCH a homebody. Lol. But when I do go out, they are to places that are very chill, not really loud, and an experience. I enjoy food spots that are unique and have a beautiful ambiance, rooftops during the warm months, galleries, roaming the aisles of plant shops and Target, walks, roller skating, and SoFar Sounds!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s a few people I owe thanks to! It definitely takes a village of support when it comes to this journey of entrepreneurship.

First, my late great grand mother Macie who first introduced me to style, my mother who has supported and continues to support. Amber Singleton is a staple in my life and her support has been endless. One of my best friends Crystal Perkins, who is also an entrepreneur and has helped me by being my sounding board when needed. My very first coach Maya Elious (turned client). who helped me get my messaging and marketing together when I first came on the scene. Clients who have been with me since day 1, Jasmine Womack, Sheila Foye, Marketing by Monrae, along with Audria Richmond, Alysha Harvey, Ashley Kirkwood, and so many more. I would not be here if it wasn’t for those who trusted me with their image.
