We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Gwennetta Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Gwennetta, what matters most to you in business?
The values and principles that means the most to me is having integrity, giving respect and being a servant leader. Integrity is important because in business you should always do what is right no matter who is around. Doing this will help you build solid relationships that will put you in places you never imagine. Respect is extremely important because you should always lead by treating others the way you want to be treated. Practicing this principle helps your business provide exceptional customer service. Lastly, being a servant leader. We all are put on this earth to serve. Greatness is determined by service.
What should our readers know about your business?
I have multiple businesses that’s why I am considered a serial entrepreneur. My company Xpert Tax Service, LLC is the company that started me on this entrepreneur journey. I have had this business with multiple locations for the last 14 years. I think what sets us apart in the tax industry is that we actually care about our clients tax situation, so our mission is always to educate you while trying to get you the maximum refund possible. I got to where I am today in business foremost by having faith. Faith is a key component to your success as a business owner. In addition to having faith I always made sure I stayed consistent. Being consistent allows you to establish awareness, build trust and deliver your services efficiently and profitably. Without it, your business is more likely to fail. Even though I have multiple business my brand values are the same in each one. My goal is always to educate, inspire and serve through every business I have.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I was planning a fun and relaxing weekend with my Bestie we would start the day off by going to a Spa. She loves JeJu Sauna. We would do lunch at somewhere quick and good like Annie Laura, This Is It or Six Feet Under. We would then do a little shopping at Tanger Outlet, Stonecrest Mall or Lenox Mall. We would then rest and go have dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Atlanta Fish Market, or Ray’s In The City. If we are not to tired we might go to a bar like Harold’s Chicken and Waffle for drinks or Suite Lounge for the real night life.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I must give a big shoutout to God. Without God I would be and have nothing. He has guided every step on my entrepreneurial journey. In the hardest and darkest times, he always gave me Grace and Mercy. He always gave me the strength and the push to keep going every time I wanted to give up. I also must give a shoutout to my sister “Tiffany Wright” and best friend “Deonta Blount” for being by my side every step of the way on this journey. I also want to give a shoutout to all my customers and clients because there is no business without them.
