We had the good fortune of connecting with Dominic Willi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dominic, how do you define success?
I don’t define success in how much money you have or how many followers you get on social media. I think success is defined on what the person needs. For me, my success comes from family and friends. If I have people in my life who will stand by my side despite my failures and flaws, that’s success. You can have all the money in the world and all the followers you could want. If you have friends that stay by your side through your worst to see you thrive at your best, that is success. Having a significant other that loves you regardless of what you drive or what is in your wallet, who will watch you grow and get the money and car. That is success to me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I work part time at Homedepot while I am in school to become a firefighter. During all of that I find time to model and pursue this life. I’ve faced challenges along the way and haven’t been given many opportunities but I’ve made my own opportunities and tried to get my self out there.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in a small town called cumming Georgia. There is not a lot to do but if I was planning a time. I would make it when the county fair is in town. We would go to fair and hangout for the night. We would at some point go to my favorite Italian restaurant called Giorgio’s.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Will Belcher is an amazing photographer who has taken a chance with me and worked with me for free. He has given me confidence and has allowed me to grow as a model. His guidance and encouragement has allowed me to embrace this and made me feel successful in this industry even if I may not be.
