We had the good fortune of connecting with Dhrmaine Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dhrmaine, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from Brooklyn,NY .. many know it as the greatest city in the world , growing up in Brooklyn you have to grow up fast , every situation i overcame and Learned from So it helped me be able to adapt in any environment/room .
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Podcasting has become the new “rapping” . There’s a new rapper everyday and not there are new podcats everyday so you have to stand out . First step is having interesting content. I think what sets me apart is that i don’t make podcast just for the moment. My episodes usually have longevity as far messages go and on top of that i treat each episode like art. I paint a picture from the first minute up until the end. And when people see that it’s no greater feeling ! It wasn’t easy building an audience but with each mistake , using it as a lesson made things easier in the long run
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d take them downtown during the mid-day / night . I think country boys have the best steak in the area so we would hit up waynesboro, its ducked off too . Give them a tour of all the black owned businesses and restaurants in the city. It’s the south , you really not doing anything until after 7pm unless you’re borderline crazy because it’s too hot
