We had the good fortune of connecting with Debra Baynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Debra, how does your business help the community?
Naked-Truth-GA Inc. is a ministry dedicated primarily to women ministers (or in ministry), wherein we endeavor to empower them to move forward into their God-given purpose for Kingdom work. Women ministers often find themselves in the positions that require them to operate outside of the true anointing that God created in them from the beginning of their existence, due to seen and unseen barriers. Naked-Truth-GA Inc. is a ministry dedicated to helping women in every aspect of ministry to find, accept and excel in their specific area(s) of giftedness for Kingdom Building.

As a not-for-profit organization, we will provide classes to help women, regardless of social, economic, spiritual, financial, physical, and educational background to find a holistic balance in their lives and to live empowered by God’s Grace to continually move forward into their designed purpose. We believe that a woman who is confident in God’s Love toward’s her, His purpose for her, and that He has assigned women (sisters) to encourage her to be the best ‘her’ that she can, will be of unmeasurable benefit to her home, job, community and to Kingdom building. Naked-Truth-GA Inc. is striving to be the catalyst for the empowerment of the women that God has assigned to us, as He assigns them to us, one woman at a time. For His glory and for all of our good.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I honestly believe that the position in which I am currently employed was assigned by God. I spent 20+ years in the non-standard auto insurance business and became unemployed in early 2011. I was without employment for almost four (4) years, during which I obtained my B.A. in Biblical Leadership studies, graduating just before my 55th birthday as valedictorian. I started this position as a contractor, two days after graduation, in a different department. One year into my contract, I met my current manager through a colleague, applied for the position, and was hired permanently within six weeks.

When Deborah Rudolph and I met, it was clear to me immediately that it was God-orchestrated. Our spirits connected, and we found that we not only have the same work ethic but the same passion for the Lord’s work as well. We are five years into this career journey together and I can honestly say that I love my job, at which I work diligently, yet, also because I have the most awesome boss ever! Deborah understands that God has plans for my life that are not directly connected to my occupation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Right now, due to Covid19, my favorite spot is at home. I am not much for hanging out, but, one of my favorite activities is walking with my sisters in Girl Trek and eating out with my spouse.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I would like to give a shoutout to God for choosing me for this glorious purpose! Also, to my Pastor, Rev. A.L. Zollicoffer for his support and encouragement. Then to all of the amazing women ministers that work in the vineyard of salvation alongside me; of which there are too many to name here! Next, to all of the women that have undergirded my endeavors to get this ministry off the ground and to the position of a non-profit organization; by pushing me and encouraging me when I wanted to be still. Last, but definitely not least, I thank all of the women that God has assigned to me and this ministry, who have trusted the Presence of God in me, and allowed me to pour into your lives, as you poured into mine. I love you all and thank God for you!
