We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Latrice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?

I want my legacy to be that I created a narrative in the world for self-love, purpose, and healing. My purpose in life is to add to the current conversations occurring and inspire others to spend more time nurturing these areas in their lives.

My education and life experiences have taught me that lacking in self-love, purpose, or emotional freedom will eventually cause turmoil in your life and become an obstacle to your next evolution. Hence, this thought process became the core belief behind starting my business, She’s Affirmed.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

She’s Affirmed was created for the overworked and unfulfilled minority woman who desires to pursue a path to entrepreneurship but feels limited by self-doubt, uncertainty, and emotional scars.

Our mission is to empower those aspiring female entrepreneurs in a vulnerable space to build their businesses with awareness, confidence, and purpose through our coaching programs, unparallel training, and applicable resources.

We believe that emotional well-being and purpose are essential elements and should be emphasized more in business. We are guided by our beliefs and commitments to authenticity, purpose, impact, healing, and accountability.

As the owner, whether it’s my writing, speaking, or coaching, I serve as a teacher and encourager for women looking to reclaim purpose and peace by using my gifts of storytelling, strategy, and communication.

All in all, I want to be remembered for inspiring other women to see their future, claim it, and show up as the best version of themselves by building confidence, clarity, and emotional freedom.

The greatest lesson I’ve learned as a business owner is to focus on authenticity and consistency; while keeping the “why” I started this business at the core of everything that I do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Coach Jas – Master Life Coach – Provided my certification as a life coach and has been a great support in encouraging me to see the impact I can make.

Tanesha – Sales Coach – Helped me build confidence in becoming a coach and how I approach my social media platform
