We had the good fortune of connecting with Corey Reese and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Corey, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
How has my balance changed over time? Wow that’s the million dollar question. At different times of my career I found myself working 24/7 for the business and taking no time to regroup and live life. Although the saying “When you’re doing what you love there is no separate from your work and your play” is true. Making time to live life will give you the much-needed time for selfcare, allow you to gain more clarity, and come back into the business with a fresh perspective. Work life balance is one of the most important things to master when operating and running your own business so my advice to anyone would be to plan life just like you plan tasks for the business.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business specializes in business building and branding. One of the things that I am most proud of is my ability to help clients bring their vision and goals to life. I do that by helping them create professional content (photo or video) that speaks to the character & power of the brand. It comes with a lot of big decisions, but the results are amazing… Instead of new random snapshots or videos with NO meaning, we CREATE meaningful content that instantly improves their ability to attract the right type of clients. My personal success as a talent, being featured on print ads for BMW, Billboards in Times Square, and now creating content as a Professional Photographer/Cinematographer allows me to connect to clients in a special way… giving me a unique understanding from both sides of the camera.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my parents for always believing in me and leading by example. Also personal development, I have to give credit to all the self-help content out there that helped me believe bigger, grow my mindset and build the life of my dreams.
