We had the good fortune of connecting with Corey And Jessica Perlman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Corey and Jessica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Both of us started our careers with General Motors. We got a taste of what it was like to work for a big corporation, and we quickly decided it was not the path for us. We wanted to own our own business, and carve out our own work/life balance. It’s not been easy, and at times we both wondered if we had made the right decision. After 15+ years, we are certain that owning our own business and running it as husband and wife was the right choice for us.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We believe that social media is more than just a marketing channel – it’s a way for businesses to connect with customers on a deeper level. Our mission to help our clients build authentic, long-lasting relationships with their customers and prospects through strategic social media marketing. Our team is committed to staying at the forefront of the ever-changing digital landscape to ensure our clients stay ahead of the competition.

The biggest challenge has been staying on top of market and technology changes. We are in a rapidly evolving industry, and so it’s has been critical that we evolve with the times and never stay stagnant. We’ve re-invented ourselves more than once and I’m sure we will do so again in the future.

Some lessons we’ve learned along the way. 1. Don’t panic. When AI first came out, everyone thought marketers would be replaced by robots. Of course, this has not been the case. But if you ignore these disruptors, they can blindside you and your business. Be open, be curious. But don’t panic every time an advancement in technology comes out and threatens your business. People will always need people.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I just took my daughter to the rooftop at Ponce City Market – it was a great time and she loved the amusement games and giant slide!

We also attended a cool event called the Reelies (first ever Instagram Reels Award show for small businesses) at the Plaza Theater in Atlanta. We definitely plan to visit this spot again for another event or movie.

Monkey 68 in Roswell, GA – our favorite Sushi place.

Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier, Helen, this area has so much to offer!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, our amazing team. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to work with the most talented, dedicated, hard-working people on the planet. Some have been with us for over a decade and others are brand new to our team. We are in a highly competitive industry, so the relationships they have with our clients has been critical to our overall success.

We’d also like to shoutout our clients. They make our jobs fun and enjoyable. No monthly meeting is ever the same and the always make a point to let me know how much they value our team and the services we provide.
