We had the good fortune of connecting with Chef Qui Lockett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chef Qui, is there something you believe many others might not?
I’ve always been told to make sure that your plan was 100% perfect and a plan had to be foolproof before you started a business. Well through my experience I disagree, I mean sure do your homework and prepare for success however, nothing is ever going to be at 100%. I was taught in school the experiences is experience!!!, Meaning that you will learn through the process there is no fail safe way, everyday in the beginning is a school session where you learn things you didn’t know before or maybe get affirmations on the things you did. The only guaranteed way to be successful in business is to actually start the business!!!!!
What should our readers know about your business?

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was coming to town the first thing I would do is Call up Chef RaNiesha Myers (EatGoodBeWell) because here Blog always has something exciting when it come to eateries or pop ups in Atlanta, Then of coarse we’d have to stop by little 5 points, for the shopping and the Vortex, I always seem to find some nice out of the box pieces there. Then later that night I’m looking for a nice vibe with music and hookah! The. The next day Maybe hit up the Dinner on Ponce and head downtown to catch a show at the Fox Theater.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Growing your Business and Talents starts with a seed being planted and watered, I’d like to Thank Master Chef Daryl Shular for planting that seed along with My Mom and Dad Chef Ray Lockett for watering that seed to help it grow and giving support in all areas of my like including being there for Marley. I’ve been apart of some great groups that have always supported me like Profound community networks,Rock city cycles , close friends/family and so many more, without there continued support this journey would have been so much harder so I Thank you all for helping my tree to bloom.
