Hi Chatara, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Balance is very important when your an entrepreneur. Balancing my online boutique, being a mother of two young boys and a wife wasn’t easy when I started my business. I was all over the place with my business and my family and I was coming up short on everything. I found that when I gave myself a set schedule to stick to (laughing well a least tried to stick to, hell let’s be honest I am human) and just focus on my business without interruptions, balance for my business and entire family was much better for the all of us. I had to sit down with my guys and let them know that if I can work on getting emails out, create content for one week for all my social media platforms and educate myself by reading up on articles on how I can make my brand more visible to people to turn them into customers without me having to stop and answer a thousands and one questions we all know everyone in our house know the answer to, I can give the rest of my days to them without thinking about my brand. They understand what needed to be done and we all did our part.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hello we’re the owner’s of the online boutique Très Soignée. We offer women’s apparel and accessories. Très means very and Soignée means fashionable, sleek, polished and show sophisticated elegance in what you have on. At Très Soignée we offer our customers unique quality pieces that can transition from day to night and doesn’t go out of style. We love pairing tops and bottoms pieces together and creating head turning outfits out of them. What sets us apart from other brands is the relationship we have with our customers. We listen to our customers and we care about what they have to say. Having our customers reach out to us and express how excited they are once they receive their item(s) and how that item(s) meet their expectations, means the world to us. Hearing from our customers let us know that we’re heading in the right direction with our brand. Our customers are always expressing to us that they love how we show them different styles that they might not have thought was for them and encourage us to keep showing them exactly that. Having an online boutique is not easy at all. People think that sense social media platforms are around it’s easy to sell but they can’t be more wrong. People have trust issues when it comes down to shopping online and we can’t fault them for that because there are so many online boutiques that are not at all actually online boutiques taking their money without sending them any product(s) or sending product(s) that doesn’t look like the photos on that website. We try our best to be very presence on all social media platforms and we still have ways to go. We’re going to start doing more lives and record more on our social media platforms when new pieces are about to be release on our website so future customers can see us more and get more familiar with the faces behind the brand. We encourage our customers to write reviews on our pieces good or bad to help future customers. We want world to know that Très Soignée is definitely on our way up and that we are not finish introducing ourselves to them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
1. If you want to enjoy the scenery the Belt line is the perfect place to visit.

2. If you love Thai food, 26 Thai Kitchen & Bar on Main st will not disappoint. The Basil Fried rice, signature wings and the wonton soup are the perfect dishes with Thai Colada to drink.

3. Painting with a Twist on Caroline st NE is something that you will enjoy.

4.You want to dance the night away and get your grown and sexy on while enjoy Caribbean food Rock Steady Atlanta on Marietta St is the place. The restaurant is downstairs and they have awesome cocktails list to pick from and the food menu is to died over well not definitely. Once dinner is done head upstairs and follow the music.

5. The Yard Milkshake Bar in Downtown Atlanta is heaven I tell you but don’t take me word for it go check it out for yourself.

I will like to first thank the man above for all that he has blessed me with and for all that he does for me. My husband Mikewa Stephenson, our babies Javien and Christian Stephenson. They are my biggest supportive. They have been so patient with me from the very start of my business up until now. My mother Kathryn Jackson. She’s literally my unpaid therapist. She’s always there to listen to me vein about everything about my brand. I’m truly blessed and grateful to have them. Those four are definitely my #1 fans. My business partner Genean Fleary. Our personalities are totally different but she let me be me and express myself so much in our business. My family and dearest friends that mention our brand to everyone they know and purchasing just about every pieces that we release and lastly our customers for rocking with us this long and making sure there is still a Très Soignée brand.
