We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryce France and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryce, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It was more so what I felt best at. I wasn’t a very good student but purely out of nothing giving me a feeling of purpose. Photography has given me a lot of purpose and it grows as I get older and better at what I do.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What separates me from others is purely my perspective on life. I began just having a ton of fun and making beautiful work with friends who would let me photograph them. These days I want to serve more and let my skillset prop up others who do cool things and I think have a lot to say.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
West Midtown is where I’d start first. That’s where I mainly lived for 3 years once I first got to Atlanta and loved it! It’s growing more and more every year with great food and fun things to do like The Painted Duck and Putt Shack.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife and son (Cait and River). I love them more than anything
