We had the good fortune of connecting with Briya Christ and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Briya, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I had to take risks at a young age. I guess i got it from watching other people i was inspired by , they all took risks and chances to get where they got and become what they became. A lot of times something must be given or dropped in order for the blessing to come in. Every single time i took a risk i was rewarded for it. It was like a gift for my courage.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m proud of what i do because i’m expressing myself the way i want to without any sort of limitation. It took a lot to get where i’m at , and even then i don’t feel satisfied at the moment. i’m still going to go farther , i don’t respect the way how freedom of speech and expression is constantly trying to be censored either. that’s extremely pathetic and a danger towards human rights. human rights is something most people don’t even know exist because most people aren’t even treated like people to know they are humans. I want to show the world what they are not seeing.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If ima be honest i know a lot of spots but i don’t really frequent those places because i’m not really a social person. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
