We had the good fortune of connecting with Bridget Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bridget, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 2021, I was introduced to the Airbnb industry, which served as the catalyst for my journey into real estate investing and development. It all began when my sister, Myasia, introduced me to a mentor who guided me through the process of acquiring my first unit. The excitement of listing my unit for the first time was quickly validated when I received my first booking for a two-day stay. That success was soon followed by another booking for a month-long stay. Remarkably, the same family has been residing in my unit ever since, transforming me into their de facto landlord.
This experience was a revelation. The realization that I could successfully manage a property and generate consistent income sparked a deeper interest in real estate. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about the industry, from investment strategies to property development. I studied market trends, attended workshops, and networked with industry professionals to build my knowledge and skills.
With a newfound passion and a wealth of knowledge, I decided to take the plunge and start my own real estate investment and development firm. My company focuses on purchasing distressed properties, renovating them, and renting them out to tenants. Additionally, I purchase land to develop new homes, contributing to community growth and revitalization.
The journey has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. Each step required me to step out of my comfort zone, face setbacks, and find creative solutions to obstacles. Through persistence, prayer, and a willingness to learn from failures, I have built a successful business. My story is a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of networking, and the impact of continuous learning.
Today, my firm is a reflection of my dedication and hard work. We are committed to providing quality housing and contributing positively to the communities we serve. My entry into the Airbnb industry in 2021 was the beginning of a transformative journey, one that has led to the creation of a thriving real estate investment and development company.
What should our readers know about your business?
My real estate investment and development firm is dedicated to transforming distressed properties and undeveloped land into valuable community assets. I specialize in purchasing rundown homes and buildings, meticulously renovating them to meet modern standards, and renting them out to families and individuals seeking quality housing. My projects are not just about physical renovations; they are about revitalizing neighborhoods and contributing to the community’s overall growth. I also invest in undeveloped land, where we develop new homes that blend seamlessly with their surroundings while providing contemporary living spaces. My commitment to excellence is evident in every project we undertake, driven by a passion for creating spaces that enhance the quality of life for my tenants and buyers. My journey to success has been marked by rigorous research, strategic networking, and a relentless drive to overcome challenges. I believe in the power of consistency, resilience, and smart financial decisions. My firm is built on the principles of integrity, dedication, and a vision for a better future through real estate. I aim to inspire others by showing that with the right mindset and effort, anyone can achieve their real estate goals.

His insights, encouragement, and unwavering belief in my potential have been instrumental in my journey, shaping my approach to real estate and fueling my drive to succeed.
