Meet Brenda Lane | Holistic Practices

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brenda Lane and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brenda, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from Battle Creek,Michigan, and my upbringing shaped everything about the woman and entrepreneur I am today. I grew up without privilege, without support, and without the safety nets a lot of people have. I lost my mother as a teenager, and from that moment on, I had to teach myself how to survive, how to create, how to build, and how to hold on to God when life tried to break me.
My background pushed me to tap into purpose early. I became a mother young, had to navigate betrayal, homelessness, rebuilding, and starting over more times than I can count. But every challenge developed spiritual strength, discernment, and resilience — the kind you cannot buy or fake.
Those experiences are the reason Energy Oracle Café exists today. It’s not just a café — it’s a place built from my healing, my testimony, and my calling. My upbringing taught me compassion, leadership, creativity, and the importance of creating safe spaces for others to heal.
Every city I lived in — Michigan, Houston, Nashville, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta — added another layer to my purpose. And today, I stand as a woman who took pain, trauma, and spiritual warfare and turned it into power, entrepreneurship, and global impact. My background didn’t just shape who I am — it prepared me for exactly who I was called to become.”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the founder of Pure Intentions Bre and Energy Oracle Café — a members-only herbal wellness café designed to be a safe, sacred space for healing, connection, and community. What sets my work apart is that everything I build comes from a place of purpose, integrity, and spiritual alignment. I don’t run businesses — I create atmospheres. I create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and spiritually recharged.
Energy Oracle Café is not open to the general public by design — it is members-only because the people who come in are more than customers. They become family. We pour into each other, hold each other accountable, celebrate each other’s growth, and create a community that is protected, intentional, and spiritually uplifting. It’s a place where people can breathe, heal, and reset without judgment or chaos.
Pure Intentions Bre is my healing and spiritual development brand where I offer Biblical Reiki, prophetic insight, courses, retreats, and deep inner healing work. I blend biblical principles with energy alignment and intuitive guidance, creating a style of healing that is both powerful and unique. My clients come to me for clarity, transformation, and spiritual breakthrough — and I take that calling seriously.
What I’m most proud of is that I built all of this from the ground up with no investors, no business loans, no family behind me. Just God, faith, wisdom, and an unwillingness to quit. My success came through seasons of deep pain, betrayal, spiritual warfare, and rebuilding my life over and over until it aligned with my purpose.
The journey was not easy. I faced financial hardship, legal battles, motherhood challenges, and personal attacks that would have broken most people. But I learned to trust God, trust my intuition, and trust the vision He gave me. I learned that elevation requires separation, and that sometimes God isolates you so He can rebuild you. Every challenge made me sharper, stronger, and more aligned with who I was called to become.
The greatest lessons I’ve learned are:
– Protect your peace and your purpose.
– Discernment is one of your greatest assets.
– Community matters more than popularity.
– Not everyone is meant to have access to your space.
– And God will always multiply what you surrender.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that my businesses are ministries. Energy Oracle Café is a sanctuary disguised as a wellness café. Pure Intentions Bre is a movement of healing, empowerment, and spiritual awakening. My story is proof that pain can become purpose, trauma can become testimony, and alignment can open doors that hard work alone could never reach.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Atlanta for a week, the entire trip would be a blend of peace, purpose, good food, luxury experiences, and soul-level connection — because that’s the energy I live by.
Day 1 — Arrival + Reset
I would start by bringing them to Energy Oracle Café — my members-only wellness café — so they can experience a chakra smoothie, herbal wellness blend, and the peaceful atmosphere that sets the tone for their entire trip. We’d catch up, decompress, and let them ease into the energy of Atlanta.
Day 2 — Healing + Alignment
They would spend a morning receiving a Biblical Reiki session or Sacred Soul Reiki Healing at Pure Intentions Bre. When people visit me, I want them to leave lighter. After the session, we’d have brunch at Toast on Lenox or Breakfast at Barney’s for a mix of good food and Black-owned excellence.
Day 3 — ATL Culture Day
We’d visit:
• Ponce City Market
• The BeltLine for a beautiful walk
• Little Five Points for unique shops and artistic vibes
Then dinner at Rock Steady, which always has a grown, soulful, elevated atmosphere.
Day 4 — Luxury + Relaxation
A spa day at Jeju Sauna or The Waldorf Astoria Spa for luxury relaxation. After that, we’d do a chill night drive around Buckhead or Midtown — music, deep talks, and enjoying the skyline.
Day 5 — Creativity + Inspiration
We’d hit:
• Trap Music Museum
• High Museum of Art
• Atlantic Station
To end the day, we’d grab dinner at Two Urban Licks or Nobu Atlanta for a high-end dining experience.
Day 6 — Nature + Fresh Air
We’d visit Piedmont Park or take a peaceful drive to Stone Mountain. If we wanted something even more serene, we’d do a lake day on Lake Lanier (private boat, peaceful vibes only).
Day 7 — Fellowship + Good Energy
The last full day, we’d head back to Energy Oracle Café to close out the trip with community. My members feel like family — everyone pours into each other, laughs, talks life, and enjoys the healing atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to end a trip: grounded, uplifted, and spiritually aligned.

Atlanta has so many amazing places, but the real experience is the energy — the blend of creativity, culture, healing, and connection. When people visit me, I want them to leave refreshed, inspired, and spiritually recharged.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to God first — because without His guidance, protection, and strength, I wouldn’t be here. Everything I’ve survived, everything I’ve built, and every door that opened for me came from His hand. My story is not a story of luck; it’s a story of grace.
I also want to shout out my mother, Brenda Lee Robinson. She passed when I was a teenager, but everything she taught me still lives in me. Her strength, her wisdom, her encouragement, and the way she believed in me — even before I believed in myself — shaped the foundation of the woman I became. My business, Brenda Lees Marketing Inc., is named in her honor because she is the reason I’m able to pour into others the way she poured into me.
I want to acknowledge the strangers who became family along my journey — the people who saw my light when those closest to me tried to dim it. The clients who trusted me when I was still finding my voice. The spiritual mentors who spoke life into me during seasons I felt spiritually attacked. And the real supporters who show up for my businesses, my retreats, my Bible studies, and my healing work. Their belief in me gave me fuel on the days I was running on empty.
Lastly, I want to shout out every woman who has ever faced betrayal, trauma, or spiritual warfare and still chose healing. You are the reason I do what I do. Your stories, your strength, and your willingness to rebuild inspire me to keep showing up in purpose every single day.
My journey has never been about doing it alone — it has always been about God placing the right people in my life at the right time. So this shoutout belongs to Him, to my mother, to my supporters, and to every soul I’ve been called to help.
