We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Dunn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Customer Service – it’s the key to WellDunn Entertainment’s success. Mainly because we are a service-only providing company. The magnitude of our bookings, referrals, advertisement thrives from a happy client simply sharing their experience with us to the next person. The process works and has not failed our business model and we appreciate every single one of our trusted customers for their support.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When a new entertainer joins our roster, I like to discuss the importance of your “IT”. Yes everyone has an “IT” and that’s what makes an entertainer different from another. The challenge is you have to discover that “IT” and construct it into a business niche because if clients can separate you from others you can simply create your own industry(set apart from your competition). Let that ruminate.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Birmingham you have to bring an appetite, so many restaurants and styles of cuisine to dine at. From BBQ at Saw’s or Rodney Scott’s, to Burgers at Jack Brown’s(YUM), and let’s not forget if you’re fancy – Blueprint on 3rd(thank me later). After you wake from “itis” you should walk Railroad Park, enjoy “Thirsty Thursday’s” at Regions field for a Baron’s game, and for nightlife you could grab a great beverage and conversation at The Refinery or Southern Kitchen – and dancers can hit Lakeview or Downtown for many different types of bars and music. All sorts of options in a youthful growing city.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I had to narrow down in typing my shout out list I would unfortunately forget someone I truly care about. So I’m going to first start by thanking my Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ for guiding and providing me with the guidance and encouragement to do my diligence as a business owner. I also would like to shout out my family and loved ones who have supported in all sorts of ways throughout our business journey. “Friendors” – vendors that I like to call friends, Venue owners, Planners, Photographers, Videographers, other business owners, friends, and let’s not forget the incredible entertainers on WELLDUNN Ent roster, my Executive assistant Callie who’s amazing, the list goes on and on…and I must thank the city of Birmingham, Al and the entire SOUTHEAST because we know how to PARTY! Did I forget anyone? 🙂
