Meet Bianca Pitman: Vaginal Steam Practioner/ Womb Wellness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Pitman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

I come from a family of entrepreneurs. My grand father owned Taxi services, candy stores and laundromats before I was born. My older brother also has his own business which was always inspiring to me as a young adult. I was 14 years old working my first job at popeyes fried chicken and thats where I learned that I never wanted to work for anyone. In 2009 I decided to go to cosmetology school, that experience was when my life changed. Working “behind the chair” as my own boss as a cosmetologist inspired me to want to do many things.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In 2013 I created Be You Beauty in light of loved ones passing away from cancer. I felt like not only is our food a contributing factor to illness but also the amount of chemicals in our products are to, which at the time inspired me to create all natural hair and skin products that were 100% natural. In 2018 I added feminine wellness to the Be You Beauty 🦋 brand in light of myself going 10 years without a period due to being diagnosed with PCOS in 2018. After years of going to the doctor and being forced on birth control I decided to take my healing into my own hands and healed myself naturally through vaginal steaming. I literally went from not receiving a cycle for years to creating a vaginal steam blend that has given me a consistent cycle for the last 3 years. in 2019 I became a certified womb healer where I teach women the importance of taking care of their femininity in a more holistic manner. Rekindling the relationship between beauty and wellness, our product formulations are consciously made, with love, light and intention. Thereby making all of our products based off the phases and energies of the moon. Our brand spreads awareness on natural holistic healing alternative for women. We create handcrafted Yoni steams, Yoni soaps, herbal pads, herbal teas, Yoni eggs, etc.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would take her horse back riding up to the hollywood sign where she can see the whole view of LA. I feel like Venice beach is always a vibe so we would definitely spend the day on venice bike riding and visiting/supporting all the local vendors and shops. We would go to koreatown and go on ice cream dates to “Somi Somi”. On a sunday we would go to leimert park. Hey vegas is close and we love road trips!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out Zainab Nicole from Yoni empowerment for sparking my knowledge and for educating me on natural alternatives for the feminine body . I would also like to shout out all of my supporters, my family and friends for always speaking light into me and for always believing in my mission even as a I made pivots in my business they always believe in everything I do. And most importantly I would like to shout out my clients and customers for believing in me and for trusting me with their most sacred space.
