We had the good fortune of connecting with BFS Richie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi BFS Richie, how do you think about risk?
Im a firm believer in you get what you give and taking a risk is usually the difference between success and failure. I have no fear of failure , in life is all about trial and error. Especially as a musician, I have to be willing to embrace the idea of taking risk, its the only way to experiment with newer sounds and different style.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Music saved me…more than once. My passion of music runs deep, I built up a home studio when I was about 14 out of cellphone headset and an old computer that a neighbor gave me. I never turned back. I’ve spent countless hours creating and experimenting with rap music. Whatever beat I could rap on, I would ones I liked ones I didn’t. I always wanted to be prepared to rap or work the any genre or artist I collaborated with. my approach is make sure no stone goes un-turned on every song
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my homie my family and friends that have supported me, but mostly I want to shout out to Gotti, 44 Dougie and DC Da Cause without the guys I definitely wouldn’t be where I’m at without those guys pushing me creatively and constantly keeping me motivated.
