We had the good fortune of connecting with Audrey Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Audrey, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most factor behind my success/brand is that my company name (Georgia TLC Events defines how I take care of my clients. We always put the Tender, Loving, Care in all we do from beginning to end.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a team of Certified Wedding Planners, we at Georgia TLC Events pride ourselves on getting to know each of our couples in order to provide the highest level of service customized especially for them. From the moment you meet us for the first time, you will feel as if you have known us for a very long time. It is extremely important that we put the Tender Loving Care into each event from the beginning to the very end. We have been successful by having the drive and focus of caring and supporting our clients. The most important thing about Georgia TLC Events is that we truly put our heart and soul into everything we do.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my BFF was to visit I would take her to a nice spa such as Chateau Elan Winery and Resort as we both loved to be pampered. We would spend our time at the resort doing wine tastings, enjoy the outdoors and just relaxing and spending time together. We would venture out to places like Ponce City Market and Oceanaire Restaurant. As a nice change we would drive up to North Georgia and hang out at the Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino. On our way back we have to stop at Mercier Orchards to check out their apples and get some of their awesome fried pies.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize my amazing husband, Mike Jones, who has helped me all along the way and he was one of the reasons I started my company. He has been a DJ/MC for over 20 years and I used to help him with events and that inspired me to want to help couples have an even more amazing day. Also I would like to recognize Laurie Hartwell, owner of The Bridal Society (TBS). TBS is the certification course that helped expand my knowledge in the industry. She is still our biggest cheerleader and continues to provide more learning opportunities outside of the normal doing events.
