We had the good fortune of connecting with Attyya Guiles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Attyya, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking for me has played an integral role in my business thus far. When I read stories about very successful entrepreneurs, the common theme that I kept reading was, “don’t be afraid to take the risk.” It was difficult for me initially because I came from a structured profession and lived in a structured world. It wasn’t until I was able to move away from my limited thought process that we really began to see the success that I knew we could. Risk taking is critical to success in business. Although it does not mean making blind decisions, but it does mean not being afraid to take a chance. We recently opened our 1st retail store in Phipps Plaza in Atlanta after having been strictly an E-Commerce business for a year. That was not a part of our initial plans as a business; however, as we began to expand this move was critical to our success because it would put us directly in front of our targeted audience. In any business, risk taking gives the entrepreneur the opportunity to learn and grow as a leader. It helps strengthen their skills.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Established in 2020, ATTYYA is an exciting, innovative brand looking to bring an incredible new voice to the cosmetic and personal care industry. We develop high-quality fine fragrances, make up, candles, room deodorizers, skincare and classic Swiss made timepieces to bring you the luxury and opulence you deserve in your grooming routine.

We take pride in supporting individual beauty and expressionism, diversity in beauty, product development that always meets our standard of excellence, and unequivocal customer satisfaction. We take your satisfaction incredibly seriously. In fact, we consider it our most important marker of success. The ATTYYA brand has been seen in magazines around the world such as Vanity Fair, Glamour UK, and The World of Interiors magazines.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since our brand has opened its 1st retail location in Phipps Plaza in Buckhead, I would have to say that one of my favorite spots in the city would be in the Buckhead community. I have grown to love the area because of the wonderful attractions, live music, and shopping malls. If I were visiting the area, I believe that it would be quite an adventuresome day. Not to mention the friendly faces of the people in the Buckhead community . Spending a day in Buckhead would definitely be worth the trip. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
On Saturday, April 17th, the ATTYYA Limited Co. opened its first retail location at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta. The brand has seen unprecedented growth in sales since we began our E-Commerce store in January 2020. I would like to shout out our retail sales team. They have worked extremely hard during our store opening process and I would like to personally thank them. Also, I must give a shout out to our friends, family, community members and Phipps Plaza’s dynamic management team who came and supported us at the Grand Opening celebration and in the store opening process. It was an awesome event.
