We had the good fortune of connecting with Ari Licht and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ari, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
My love in makeup is a habit that helped me succeed. I use all my products and obtaining skills in makeup I have today helped me use my line in the way best for me.
What should our readers know about your business?
Getting to where I am today was not an issue route. It came with a lot of hardships, a lot of letdowns, not having everyone’s support, and betrayal. However, with it all, we still came out winning. Having a positive mentality is a very crucial part of being successful and not giving up. Once you lose that, it’s very hard to find your way to where you want to get to. I’ve learned that not everyone is going to want you to be great and succeed, and that having faith is super important to keep going strong. I want people to know that the business world is not the most simplest job ever, but it’s definitely one that’s worth fighting for.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being from New York and later moving to Florida, Atlanta is not all that similar. I personally didn’t even like it here at first. Later on when I started maneuvering through the city and the metro area, I learned that the greenery here is what makes it such a beautiful city. I would take my friend to all the beautiful parks we have here, because it’s one of the best parts of living in the area. Midtown is also very lovely with its gorgeous unique buildings and wonderful restaurants. I’m more of a city type girl, so we would definitely be in the city for most of the time enjoying the one way roads and local corner stores.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shout out to my mom that has always motivated me to do better and helped me through this journey in forming this company. Even when I felt like I lost all hope, she pushed me to do better and to really keep working for my goals.
