Meet April Denise | CEO of Bama Baddies

We had the good fortune of connecting with April Denise and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi April, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea of my TV show by being inspired by other big time movie, producers, and reality TV show producers and creators , like Tyler Perry and Mona Scott . The truth is ,growing up in a neighborhood that low income families live in the average person would only dream to do big things based on their life situations. But I did not let where I came from stop me from chasing my dreams I am determined to make history for my family and where I come from . I hope to inspire others and I want to show them that no matter the situation , if you put your mind to it and your work ethic to it you can succeed .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bama Baddies , Has Gained So Much Success Sense We First Started. At First It Was Very Rocky Because It Was My Very First Time Doing This And Even Though I Did Some Research It Was Still So Much To Learn . I Always Think Of It As A Blessing Even The Times Where I Was Stressed Out The Most , Because I’ve Learned How To Do Things Better And I’ve Become More Confident In My Tv Show. Truthfully I Did Have Times When I Felt Like I Just Needed To Give Up , But I Didn’t I Knew That This Was Something I Really Wanted And It Was Going To Have Its Rough Patches. Some Of The Lessons I Learned Was Time Management , And To Be More Transparent, And Confident . I Want The World To Know That , No Matter Where You Come From, Or What People Say About You , You Can Be Whatever You Want To Be . Hold Your Head Up High And Keep Going .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My Favorite Spots In Alabama Would Be Hideaway Bar And Grill , They Have The Nicest Owners I’ve Ever Met. They Are Located In Huntsville Alabama . My Favorite Spot In Birmingham Alabama Would Be , Urban Parc They Have Games To Play Including Bowling, Giant Jenga , Arcade Games And More . They Have A Great Variety Of Food And Drinks, They Even Have A Rooftop.

I would love to shout out my production team , they have stood by my side for so long from the very beginning and they deserve a big shout out for all of the work they have done .
