We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Cj ALLEN and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony Cj, what do you attribute your success to?
It all started living in Columbus Ohio, were I was born and raised. My Mother would share several books of successful people in them. So I would read them and study them. And before you know it these bookes became apart in me. How to become successful.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I Own a Barbershop located in Tyrone Ga, I have been working in Tyrone Ga for over 13 years in another shop. The skills set in the other shop I felt fully invested. How ever your vision is your vision. So I felt like I wasn’t seeing the out come of what I was putting into that shop. So One day I had a dream of opening my own shop. Of course I was afraid the fear kept playing in my head, How are you going to afford it with no money saved or put aside. SO the spot that I currently own the previous owner had done something terrible. Which I was able to put a small deposit down to hold it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There is a new place that is really inspiring in the area were I work at it is call Trilith Studios, that would be the place to go, and eat and stay at the Hotel. Most of the filming of Movies are shot there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Mother is and will always be a huge part of my success. The credit goes to her and definitely God. To put the vision in me. To push me to become the Man that I am today. Living in a single house hold she has done the best that she knew.
