We had the good fortune of connecting with Anita Omo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anita, what do you attribute your success to?
Good Customer Service, good customer service is the success key for any business. I make sure my clients have an amazing time with me from the booking process to the actual service and then to following up after the service is completed. I feel this has won me return clients as people like to be treated like they matter and I have no problem at all making them feel special because they truly are special to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I always look forward to the new styles that parents and kids bring to me at each appointment. I get sad when clients want simple styles. I love being challenged and so sometimes I look up styles or crate new designs for them and ask them to allow me freestyle their hairstyle so i can bring my creativity to life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
i would pick her up from the airport, take her home to freshen up. we would catch up on old times and maybe go out to drinks that night. I live in Kennesaw so a good drink spot would be Bernie’s in downtown Kennesaw. the next day I would take her to the Georgia Aquarium and Coca Cola to see the main sights and sounds of Kennesaw and we can stop at Dog’s in Smyrna for some live music, food and drinks. we could also go to the museums around. i would plan a day for her to meet my local friends and have brunch at First Watch which is a place i enjoy going to.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would not be where I am today without the support of my family and the clients who first took a chance on me at the start of my business. Without having any previous clients they gave me a chance and then told their friends about me who spread the word and that’s how I have gotten to where I am, being fully booked with very great return clients.
