We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Randle & Zandra Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angela & Zandra, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We are extremely meticulous about what we serve to our clients. We follow the leading sanitation and food safety standards. Beyond that, though, we are very particular about the ingredients we select and incorporate into our menu items. If they do not meet our quality standards, we don’t use them. Periodt (LOL). We also experiment heavily and perfect recipes before we offer or serve them to our clients because we truly aim for excellence. We want the people who choose us to be a part of their special events to recognize the commitment we have to customer satisfaction. Because of the TLC we put into each order, we have an exceptional group of repeat clients, and our business has grown almost exclusively by word of mouth.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We offer full service private chef, catering and event planning services. Our most unique quality is our commitment to the theme of the event. Generally, we do not provide the client with a menu unless it is specifically requested. We are more interested in learning what their goals and budgets are, and from there we cultivate their vision as a team. We are always in touch with our clients with updates and open to feedback and adjustments. Our clients become a part of our family, a part of our team, and we are invested in their satisfaction with the presentation and realization of the scope of their ideas.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the unique and simple aspects of the city – there’s always something different to do. I’ll definitely hit up the aquarium and museums and other well known tourist spots, but I also like just doing things that are out of the box – I’ve gone skydiving and axe throwing since living here.! I love being outside so outdoor concerts and festivals are a favorite, as well as Stone / Snow Mountain depending on the season. I love exploring all of the different foods available in the city – my favorites right now would be Ethiopian and New Orleans style food (chargrilled oysters give me life!). Brunch with bottomless mimosas is also always a must on the itinerary.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would not be where we are without our wonderful support system – our friends and family that jump in without hesitation and provide a helping hand during our events, that book us for their events as well as refer us, and that motivate us to keep striving for bigger and better.
