We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Lilia Preciado and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana Lilia, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite affirmation is “everything always works out for me”. This has become a very powerful affirmation in my life. Every time I feel nervous or anxious, I simply repeat this affirmation over and over and over until I start feeling at ease. You know when you wake up in the middle of the night and your mind wants to go over all the things that worry you, I will repeat this affirmation over and over and I will feel this comfort come over me and fall right to sleep.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Altar y Fuego Healing creates a safe place for a person to go deep within themselves to find the cause of what’s holding them back from creating their genuinely happy life and to finally heal that suffering. I’ve always wanted to help people better themselves so they can feel empowered. I believe that every single person can manifest a beautiful prosperous, harmonious life but due to a lot of our childhood and adolescent traumas we don’t know how. We get stuck thinking this is the life I got, and I have to live in misery. A lot of times we blame ourselves for things that happened to us when we were too young to know how to defend ourselves. This can cause a life of chaos. Altar y Fuego Healing holds space for a one-on-one customized healing ceremony using ancestral ways that have been used for thousands of years. These ways steam from a Meso-American healing system. Altar y Fuego Healing is a holistic approach to healing inner wounds by focusing on the five components of our mortal exitance, Mind, body, soul, energy field and emotions. A personalized Alter is created for the client, we have a platica (heart to heart talk) and from there we go into the healing ceremony by using the medicine wheel, four elements, and various tools such as drums, rattles and herbs. No two healing ceremonies are the same because everyone is going through their own difficulties. Altar y Fuego Healing will differentiate for each individual and what they specifically need.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There’s so much to do in the Los Angeles area. My favorite place to visit is Placita Overa or Olvera Street in Downtown LA. It is full of Mexican culture. There’s so much to see, buy and eat. It’s truly amazing. I would absolutely visit the beach. There are so many beautiful beaches to relax in, there’s Hermosa beach, Laguna beach, Crystal Cove and so many more. Any day at the beach is a fun filled day. Hollywood Boulevard is also a cool place to visit. I would recommend checking out Old Tradition Tattoo while on the Hollywood walk of fame. That is the best tattoo shop in Hollywood.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my husband Christian Sanchez aka @Chrissuicide and my beautiful children Noah and Zoe Sanchez. My husband has been the biggest supporter of Altar y Fuego Healing. I also want to send a shoutout to my mom and dad along with my brothers and sisters. A big thank you to all my elders and teachers who have taught me these ancestral ways, Kallitecpatl, Maestra CC, Tereza Iniguez Flores, Ricardo Galvan, Jorge and Michelle Ramos along with Alexis Arredondo. Thank you all for your teachings and guidance. I am truly grateful!
