We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa Fobb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alyssa, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I contribute much of my success to creating balance in my life and practicing self love. I start every morning fresh by practicing meditation and yoga. I then follow that up by focusing on positive attributes about myself and the world around me. Success to me is how I feel about myself and once I began incorporating these practices in my life, the game changed! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. By creating balance and becoming conscious of myself, success seemed to follow in my personal life and in business. Starting my morning balanced helps me to be present on the job and my best work is reciprocated as a result.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our eagle eye to attention to detail sets us apart from our competitors. The 2K Experience was coined because we work impeccably, diligently and eagerly to create the perfect tranquil environment for our clients during each kleen. We make the oldest of homes feel like the newest home on the block and the newest home feel as kleen as when they first turned the key fob to their new home. Every little detail counts. Our 5 Star ratings reflect our eagle eye kleening technique. And we’re profoundly proud of that! People do business with people they know, like and trust and we believe that by being ourselves on a social platform and in person has greatly benefited us. Our fun-loving ways on the job and high quality work ethic has afforded us with amazing experiences with our clients, which in turn has benefited us with an increase in gaining and retaining maintenance customers and profited us amazing organic referrals! Being an entrepreneur has come with many challenges but the biggest challenge has been to overcome self. Believing in myself each day and showing up for myself, especially on days when things are rough are the things that propel me forward. Coming from a Dentistry and Caregiving background didn’t afford me any experience as a sole business owner, however, I knew with my kleening skills and abilities and an eagerness to work for myself, that things would fall into place. The chips have been falling as they may ever since I took the leap of faith on myself! I’ve learned in my years of kleening that all money isn’t good money and all customers don’t deserve our time. As a small women’s owned business owner, we want to make sure that we work with people we feel at home with. We deserve the same level of dignity and respect that we provide to our clients. Lucky, we have some of the best customers that refer even better customers and our family filled culture continues to strive. Our story is one that started many years ago at the young ago of eight years old, kleening our family home each and every weekend but our home grown principles and values have remained the same. Be good to people and people will be good you, Honor your word, stay loyal and dependable and last but not least do the job right the first time and you wouldn’t have to go back over your work! These are practice that are still very prevalent in our business model today.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest, I partied so much in your 20’s that it seems that I’ve taken a hiatus in my 30’s! I am much more of a home body these days but I would want my friend to have the best time of their lives here in Atlanta so I would take them to some of my favorite places such as The Painted Pin. The Painted Pin is a laid back, unique and upscale bowling and entertainment experience that is for adults only. The food and drinks are uniquely bursting with flavors. Topgolf is another favorite entertaining experience because of its atmosphere. It is family friendly desirable location. I would then take my best friend to my favorite winery, Chateau Elan. Its elegant statue and many fun and relaxing activities makes for the perfect day for the bestie and I! Our lunch time cravings would be satisfied at Taqueria San Pancho in Tucker. This small business is packed with people coming to fulfill their authentic Mexican cravings!! I would then take my friend to dinner at R Thomas Diner Downtown or Pappadeaux. You can’t lose with either choice. Each have succulent dishes for any taste bud.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I have to accredit much of the success of 2 Kleen Sisters to my sister Kayla. Without her help on a lot of the projects, 2KS wouldn’t be where it is today. Her hard work and dedication to the brand is greatly appreciated and recognized by our clients and I. I love working with someone like Kayla, because she is reliable, dependable, thorough and experienced. I trust that my clients are in good hands and are well taken care of with Kayla’s willingness to help. I would be remised if I didn’t shoutout our Instagram and Facebook tribe! Several of our clients have come to us by personal referrals. We believe in treating people and their personal spaces with the utmost care and level of respect and in doing so our tribe has shown up for us and referred our services like crazy!! Thank you all so much!!
