We had the good fortune of connecting with Adryenne Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adryenne, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?

My response is simple. Never GIVE UP. NO MATTER what happens, no matter what May come your way. KEEP GOING. My daughter & God are my main reasons for continuing on in life. Next up is the lives of different ones that I have impacted the logo this awesome dance ministry that God has graced me with. Hearing how people lives are changed through this gift is what keeps me going as well! It is an HONOR & a PRIVELEGE to be USED by GOD.

My love for dance is just mind blowing. Each day I am learning something new. What sets me apart is the OIL. Like my Pastor says, “it’s the ANOINTING that makes the difference.” I’ve had a lot of challenges, ups and downs, good days and bad days. Days where I have wanted to give up and just throw the entire ministry away but between God, my support system and those who lives have been changed by this ministry alone. I can’t give up. It keeps me going. The lessons I have learned in this ministry is to NEVER STOP. There is someone who is out there watching you, depending on you for what they need. They need you more then you will ever know. Keep GOD FIRST & watch how He will bless you.
Warrior of Worship Ministries is like none other. You get a 2 for 1. You can get the Warrior side, the Worshipper side or you can both of them in one setting. Just know, when you see the name, know that I’m coming with God and nothing else.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This dance ministry is not easy. But with the STRENGTH & GODS GRACE.. here we are! I do offer a Dance Academy here in Columbia, SC. We offer a set of 3 classes : Praise/Liturgical Dance, Warfare & Flag. It is monthly based pricing and we meet anywhere between 2-4 times monthly. I am also working on starting a WOWDA community dance team as well but that is still in the works. More information to follow on that. I also offer private flag lessons as well.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That is funny you all should ask that because my best friend lives here in Columbia with me. We are always talking about going places OUTSIDE of Columbia. Downtown Columbia is beautiful and Main Street as well. The Vista is a great place too. It’s a lot of restaurants and small businesses in these areas that are WONDERFUL. I THINK our favorite place so far is either Liberty Tap Room Or Main Course. We love, love, love their salmon.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

First: I would like to give a HUGE shoutout to God! He is the MAIN REASON I am where I’m at today in life! So many others have given up on ministry but I’m one of the ones who kept going.

Also, I would like to shoutout my family. Especially my daughter Ariella, my mother Lucinda & my bonus dad, Wallie. They push me like NO OTHER. My immediate family, thank you. A special shout-out to my first ever mentee Diamin Hill. Thank you for EVERYTHING!  Also, WOWM, my girls, who God has ENTRUSTED ME WITH to impart and cultivate in the area of dance. My sister/bestfriend Sophia Carr. Her support and her love for me is ENDLESS. SHE is ALWAYS PUSHING me in MORE ways then ONE.

ALSO. I can’t forget my LEADERS/Spiritual Parents Pastor Tyrone & CoPastor Nita Rose. Not only do they push and support. They also, have cultivated me into the young woman that I am today as well. My home church Liberty Life Columbia, thank you.
