We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
There’s an old saying, “Let’s break bread.” TOAE is a brand that revolves around creating community and authentic relationships through the medium of wine. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to overlook the importance of relationships. For the past five years, TOAE has been dedicated to bringing people together to foster new connections and reconnect with our community. Sharing a glass of wine has been a timeless tradition for almost 8,000 years, proving its enduring significance in building bonds and creating lasting memories.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
TOAE is a brand built around curating spaces where high luxury meets genuine human connection. What started as an initial dinner with 25 friends has grown into a dynamic lifestyle community, hosting curated engagements of up to 100 people. My mission? To merge culture, fine dining, champagne, and exposure to new perspectives into experiences so memorable, you’re still thinking about the night before all through the next day. Whether you’re here for the vintage, the vibe, or the relationships, TOAE is about curating community.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta, a vibrant city brimming with diverse activities catering to every interest, offers a plethora of options. Given its inclusive nature, I’ll share my personal preferences. When it comes to fine dining, I frequent a few exceptional establishments. Mujo, Koshu Club, Lucian, and Cooks & Soldier, and Bar Blanc consistently deliver spectacular food and exceptional service. Other notable fine dining restaurants in the city include Aria, Atlas, Bar Blanc, Kimball House, Miller Union, 7th House.

For a curated wine experience, there are 2 places I frequent. The Vine Club and The Perlant are private wine clubs in the city providing an immersive, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The wine selection at both is expansive and I always have a memorable time when I enter these spaces. As an art and museum enthusiast, I must mention The High Museum, SCAD, and the Atlanta History Center. These institutions offer a wealth of cultural experiences. Lastly, the Belt Line is a must-visit. This scenic loop encircles most of downtown Atlanta, providing a great way to explore the city while stopping at various stores, bars, pubs, and shopping areas.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has played a significant role in my personal and professional growth. This includes the Atlanta wine community, as well as all the individuals I’ve encountered across the globe who have been instrumental in shaping, educating, and guiding me on this incredible journey.
